J.T. Setters & Sons Construction Ltd. is accepting applications for an experienced Loader Operator to join our underground crew for the construction season. This position supports installation of water and sewer services on job sites throughout central Alberta, including labourer tasks as required.
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, hard working, with demonstrated communication and teamwork skills. At Setters, a strong commitment to safe work practices is non-negotiable. CSTS 2020 and Ground Disturbance certification is required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a heavy wheel loader
• Experience in civil water/sewer or utilities installation preferred
• Safely move or transport dirt, gravel, and other construction materials
• Knowledge of rigging, excavation, trenching & shoring practices
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Maintain equipment to ensure safety and reliability at all times
• Familiarity with operating various construction equipment & hand tools
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
