We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects with our clients across Western Canada. Rotation: Project dependent, most commonly 14/7 or 21/7 Shift: 12 Hours (Days and Nights) Flights: Available from project specific travel hubs Lodging: Accommodations provided Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of Alcohol, Drug and Fit to Work Screening Worker to provide: Valid Safety Training tickets CSO / BSO / CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED H2S Alive Bear Awareness (In-Class) Ground Disturbance (HEO) Valid Driver’s License CSA Approved safety boots - minimum 6" high & fully laceable. All Morgan Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must: Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs. Work a rotational schedule, 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required. Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job. Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required. Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it's rain, shine, or snow, you'll need to thrive in diverse weather environments. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate Loader in a safe and efficient manner including steering, controlling the bucket, and navigating the job site. Load materials like soil, rock, sand, or demolition debris into trucks, onto conveyor belts, or into other designated areas. Perform routine maintenance checks, such as checking fluids, tires, and other components, and report any issues to supervisors. Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors, other operators, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations. Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies by demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards, such as other equipment or personnel. Perform JSA and FLHA’s as required. Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills. Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks. Operate 2-way radio Perform labour duties as / when required. Assist ground personnel as / when required. Other duties as / when assigned Experience / Qualification Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience operating mine size Loader equipment (CAT 988) on projects in heavy civil earthworks, construction, road building or mining industry is required.
