Contact our team of in-house Recruiters: 1-866-4-TRIMAC Pay Details $27.35 per hour $1.35 per hour afternoon shift differential $1.25 per hour weekend shift differential Schedule 10 hours per day (80 hours in 2 weeks), Must be available for AM or PM shifts Days and/or nights, including weekends and holidays. Job Details Loading /and or Unloading rail cars in a transload environment. Receiving product. Secure product in rail cars with hammer and nails. Operator/Forklift Experience preferred. Mechanical Experience is a plus. Responsibilities Ability to work in all weather types safely. Railcar movements (both as Track mobile operator and conductor).Weigh scale operator (scaling in trucks in and out of facility). Loading railcars with front end loader. Work safely, using proper and supplied PPE. Qualifications Grade 12 diploma Must be capable of working in all weather conditions. Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools. Strong communication - clear and concise skills when using the radio to communicate. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Basic understanding of mechanical equipment. Operation of hand tools and air tools. Team player with positive work ethic, attitude & job performance. May work above shoulder level with power and /or hand tools weighing 40lbs pounds or less. Must meet physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed -( CROR cleared medical required ). May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 40 lbs or less. Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions. Previous industrial experience preferred. Previous experience operating machinery as an asset. Must provide supervisory references upon request.
