Description Position Title: Loan Administrative Specialist Location: Malvern, AR Department: Loan Operations Reports To: Loan Administrative Supervisor GENERAL SUMMARY Under general supervision and guidance of the Loan Admin Supervisor, the Loan Admin Specialist provides clerical services and related duties specific to and supportive of the lending staff at MNB through the set-up, imaging, and maintenance of loan documents, monitoring of payments, and balancing of the loan process; Insures compliance with internal policies, procedures, and legal requirements; Work is highly confidential in nature, involves the skilled use of a computer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Maintain the set-up of document files and credit files in a neat, orderly, consistent manner through the imaging software and control file access to authorized individuals only Scan copies of all loan docs (new loans, paid-in-full documents, renewals, etc.) Maintain tracking of outstanding documentation, loan agreement requirements, guidance line requirements, proof of insurance, titles, direct liens, UCC’s, etc., both on document and credit files Review final real estate documents against filed mortgage papers and final title policies to ensure accuracy of information on documents Prepare documents on paid-off loans to mail to customers and release documents from various agencies After loans have been funded, upload data into system and verify that the loan has been properly set up in the bank’s computerized loan system Balance loan applications daily to the general ledger Verify note and loan information for accuracy of pertinent information such as dates, interest rates, and payment plan; Responsible for next day verification of loan maintenance items; File new notes and related documents in the vault Post loan transactions on specialty payments (e.g. payoffs, participations, etc.). Key transactions for Loan Prep in place of earnings trailers on lines of credit Mail notices; Verify past due and payment due notices before mailing to ensure posting accuracy Deliver corporate center’s proof items to operations each day Consistently deliver phenomenal customer service through aggressive friendliness accompanied by honest, positive and confident behaviors (in-house and on the phone) Maintain utmost confidentiality Perform any other related duties as may be required or assigned TEAM EXPECTATIONS Champion the MNB mission statement with pride and enthusiasm Perform all aspects of your position with a coachable spirit Support all other team members, providing assistance and encouragement to ensure service is provided in the most efficient and effective manner Collaborate in the sharing of new ideas that will drive the organization’s bottom line Participate in volunteer opportunities surrounding the bank Exhibit professionalism at all times ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
