Description Position Summary: Assist loan officers with day-to-day operations. Employees in this position must demonstrate general knowledge of all loan products and services. Responsibilities: Emulate SSB&T Core Values Provide customer service from application for loan thru loan payoff Collect required documents to process loans Order and review title documents and appraisals Prepare loan packages for Director Loan Committee meetings Review all loan and attorney documents prior to submitting to loan operations Monitor loan exceptions and gather documents to satisfy Work with title company and loan operations to balance HUD/CD Schedule closing with borrower, loan officer, and title company as needed; close loans Gather and scan all signed loan documents; submit to loan operations for funding approval Create wires for loan funding Prepare and file UCC’s; record property documents with county Maintain and collect insurance on all titled or deeded collateral; review insurance reports Assist with preparation of interim construction loan draw documentation Perform daily process of loan maintenance and OTE’s Review booked loans for accuracy Run daily and end of month reports Other duties as assigned Requirements High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Microsoft Office, Word and Excel knowledge Ability to meet deadlines Demonstrate excellent typing skills Understanding of various types of loans and related regulations preferred Working knowledge with loans preferred Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Ability to obtain a Notary Public Commission if not already certified Must have great interpersonal skills
