About the Role The Loan Administrator is responsible for supporting the full loan lifecycle, including document preparation, data entry, file maintenance, funding coordination, and ongoing servicing tasks. This role ensures all loan files are accurate, compliant, and processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with Loan Officers, Branch Presidents and Branch Operations to support business operations and resolve technical issues. Essential Responsibilities Champion Enterprise Values: Lead with and model SSB&T’s core values, embedding them into data strategy, governance, and team culture. Prepare and review loan documents for accuracy and completeness Coordinate loan closing, ensuring all signatures, disclosures, and required information are collected Verify borrower information, collateral documentation, and supporting financial records Monitor loan payments, escrow accounts, and tickler items Ensure accuracy with company policies, state/federal regulations and lending guidelines Serve as a point of contact for loan officer, customers, and internal departments regarding loan status and documentation Employment Commitments & Physical Requirements · Non-Exempt · Full-time · Monday- Friday 8am-5pm · Focus-intensive position requiring extended periods of sitting and digital navigation. · Occasional walking, standing, and use of office equipment. · Must possess close visual acuity and clear speech for verbal communication. Location & Travel · In Office · Travel may be necessary depending on business needs Requirements Candidate Requirements · High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) · 1-2 years of experience in banking, loan operations, or financial services · Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel Outlook) · Ability to meet deadlines · Demonstrate excellent typing skills · Ability to adapt to growing business needs and structural changes. · Effective communication skills · Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and controls Candidate Preferred Qualifications · Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field · Experience with commercial, consumer, or mortgage loan documentation · Experience working in a financial institution or credit union environment · Working knowledge with loans · Understanding of various types of loans and related regulations SSB&T Employee Benefits SSB&T offers all eligible full-time employees a robust benefits package.
