Job Details Job Location: OKC-Broadway - Oklahoma City, OK 73103 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Banking The Loan File Retention Specialist carries out the objectives of the Loan File Retention team, supporting the commercial loan production teams through courteous, timely, and accurate maintenance of loan file archives. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works directly with the Loan File Retention Team Lead to ensure the loan file retention objectives are executed. Maintains the loan file retention vault, ensuring it is well maintained and orderly. Scans and files all incoming ad-hoc loan file documentation (mail, inboxes, etc.), ensuring all loan files are maintained in a timely and organized manner. Scans and files the signed closing documents and all related file documentation. Duties beyond loan file retention to include daily, weekly, and monthly processing (as appropriate) of Business Manager transactions, both ACH and lockbox activity. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or minimum 2 years’ equivalent work experience, preferred. 1-2 years’ experience in financial institution, required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Extensive administrative or professional experience in a relevant field that provides the background and experience necessary to guide the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio servicing activities in a financially safe and sound manner. Thorough knowledge of commercial, agriculture, mortgage, and consumer lending practices. Thorough understanding of loan documentation criteria and business objectives. Ability to read, comprehend, and evaluate detailed and complex loan documents.
