Description Loan Officers facilitate the lending process by interviewing applicants, analyzing financial data to determine creditworthiness and guiding customers toward a suitable product. Duties include: Loan Origination & Processing: Interview applicants, gather financial documentation, and process loan applications with accuracy. Underwriting & Analysis: Evaluate credit reports, income, and debt-to-income ratios to determine creditworthiness. Decisioning: Approve or deny loans within established lending authority limits. Customer Service & Counseling: Explain loan options, terms, and interest rates to consumers, helping them choose the right products. Sales & Business Development: Promote bank products to new and existing customers to meet financial goals. Be active in the community through involvement in civic organizations, boards and other activities. Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to federal, state, and Bank policies. Perform other tasks as assigned.
