Description Lake Ridge Bank is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Loan Operations Associate! The Loan Operations Associate is responsible for supporting commercial and ag loan servicing functions by processing the incoming mail accurately and in a timely manner, processing original loan documents for new and paid loans, and supporting the Loan Operations Teams with other tasks as needed. In this position, your role will be to provide excellent service for Commercial and Ag loan customers and for the Loan Operations Teams related to loans after they have been booked. Essential Responsibilities: Process daily incoming mail and route to the appropriate area. Maintain the files containing original loan documents. Update Sageworks verifying the receipt of original loan documents. Process incoming Financial Documents as needed to support the Loan Servicing Team. Assist in maintaining and producing procedures for tasks in job description. Promote and maintain positive relations with all internal and external contacts, customers, and potential customers. Other Responsibilities: Participate in bank and department meetings. Represent the bank in professional and community activities. Actively participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and technologies. Partner effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships. Continually develop knowledge, skills, and abilities through internal and external training programs. Perform all other duties or projects as assigned or requested. Complete all annual bank security and compliance training. Adhere to Bank Security guidelines for the entire loan area. Always maintain confidentiality of customer information. Requirements Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (especially listening and verbal) to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates. Good accounting/math skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately. Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software. Ability to put forth the extra effort necessary to ensure a successful operation, including but not limited to working additional hours, attending educational programs, etc. Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English clearly. Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner. Willingness to work toward the goals and performance standards of the department with a focus on the bank and department mission statements. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a loan operations area or lending environment, preferably within a financial institution setting. Previous experience with Fiserv operating systems. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills.
