As a Loan Processor you will work closely and collaborate with loan officers and credit analysts on both commercial and consumer loans. You will be responsible for ensuring loans are processed accurately and efficiently from application through closing, along with maintaining existing loan files and keeping information current in the loan portfolio.

    Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Previous related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with borrowers, loan officers, credit analysts, and vendors to satisfy outstanding loan conditions.
  • Build new loan documents for commercial and consumer loans.
  • Order title policies from title companies, prepare appraisal requests.
  • Manage escrow accounts for loan customers making sure insurance is paid on time and taxes are paid when due.
  • Manage different bank accounts related to borrower paid loan fees.
  • Manage pipeline to meet closing timelines.
  • Follow-up and communicate with customers and loan officers to obtain missing or updated documents.
  • Prioritize and monitor daily workflow to ensure loans are being worked on in accordance with company’s timeline expectations.
  • Answer the phone using excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Learn bank specific software.
  • Follow banking rules and procedures.
  • Follow company loan policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and rules as well as Federal Regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
