Description TITLE: Loan Quality Specialist I DEPARTMENT: GO: Loan Operations JOB SUMMARY: The Loan Quality Assurance Specialist position is responsible for verifying the accuracy of data input into the core system on Commercial, Mortgage and Consumer loans. This position is also responsible for the daily file maintenance review to ensure documented policy and procedures are upheld. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Perform new and renewed loan post booking review process for Commercial, Mortgage and Consumer loans ensuring accuracy of system set up according to executed loan documentation to mitigate risk and ensure proper controls are in place. · Perform daily review and sign-off of file maintenance (including but not limited to Note Maintenance, Participation Maintenance, and CIF Maintenance) as well as other monitoring, reporting, tracking, etc. to mitigate risk and ensure proper controls are in place. · Assist internal/external auditors with task walk throughs when testing controls. · Provide timely feedback on any noted discrepancies and confirms corrections are completed. · Collaborate with other Loan Operations staff to ensure source documentation is accurate and properly stored for retention. · Review and reconcile loan general ledger accounts for all banks on a daily/monthly basis. · Import QCRH Loan Quality documentation as it pertains to process and procedures · Works with management to improve efficiencies within team processes · Performs other duties, and participates in special projects, as assigned by management · Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position. · Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion. · Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company’s mission, vision and values. QUALIFICATIONS: · High School Diploma or equivalent. · One to three years of experience in the loan operations area or equivalent area. · Knowledge of loan documentation across various loan products and comprehension of loan process / procedures. · Critical thinking skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and organize workflow independently. · Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe. · Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. WORKING CONDITIONS: · Duties are performed in a professional office environment. SALARY & BENEFITS: The minimum salary range for this position is $45,000 annually. The actual starting salary will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
