What You’ll Do As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in bringing our members’ financial goals to life. You’ll ensure loan files, escrow accounts, and collateral records are complete, accurate, and compliant — all while delivering the kind of thoughtful, high-touch service that sets our credit union apart. You’ll collaborate with Lending, Accounting, and Operations teams to keep things running smoothly, support process improvements, and be a trusted point of contact for both internal partners and members. Your Day Might Include Processing and maintaining consumer and real estate loan documentation with precision and care. Quoting and processing loan payoffs, reconveyances, and title/UCC releases. Coordinating escrow accounts - from property tax payments to insurance tracking - ensuring every detail is right. Performing audits and reconciliations to make sure loan portfolios balance perfectly. Responding to member inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and genuine care. Supporting your teammates, mentoring others, and collaborating on projects that make our processes even better. Requirements What You Bring A genuine desire to help others and make a difference. Two or more years of experience in loan servicing or lending operations (financial institution experience preferred). A solid understanding of loan documentation, escrow processes, and collateral management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - you love getting things right. Confidence using core banking systems, Microsoft Office, and other loan servicing tools. A calm, professional communication style - and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus! Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business or finance preferred. Work Environment Professional office setting with the possibility of a hybrid schedule (subject to departmental needs and performance).
