SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Loan serving, operations, or administration experience preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide courteous and professional service
  • Strong attention to detail including reading and proofreading skills
  • Requires visual speed and accuracy, ability to take directions and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Well-developed time management and organization skills
  • Able to exercise appropriate judgment and seek/involve management when necessary
  • Possess well developed analytical, mathematical skills
  • Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Responsibilities
  • Review all pending documents and follow-up on incomplete or missing items
  • Prepare any needed title work to include requesting any needed additional checks for lien’s late fees for any situation regarding the perfection of our lien
  • Scan documents into the system for file and record keeping purposes as needed
  • Conduct periodic ARM (rate change) verifications
  • Inform Loan Servicing Manager and/or SVP, Chief Credit Officer of any unusual circumstances or trends
  • Follows review procedures assuring accurate and timely assessment for quality control
  • Assist Loan Operations and Processing Department as needed
  • Answer questions from customers regarding their loans
  • Resolve issues related to the data on existing loans, as they arise
  • Assist with force placed insurance tracking as needed
  • Reviews new note file documentation with an emphasis on quality control and fraud prevention
  • Review and verify daily system file maintenance reports
  • Reviews closed loan files for accuracy and completeness in accordance with regulatory and bank requirements
  • Follow-up for unrecorded documents
  • Follow-up for missing insurance policies
  • Assist Internal Audit and Loan Review with gathering and researching information
  • Assist with loan payoff processing as needed
