Description River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust. The Loan Servicing Specialist I ensures the accurate setup, maintenance, and servicing of loans throughout the loan lifecycle. Processes payments, manages documentation, and fulfills customer and internal requests in a timely and compliant manner to support the integrity of loan records. Boards loans according to the loan documents and tracks receipt of original note and/or title. Completes incoming requests via ticketing system or other sources to complete transactions, perform loan maintenance, or research to fulfill customer requests in a timely manner. Applies incoming loan payments promptly. Scans documents to loans to ensure all origination, correspondence, and maintenance is indexed to the proper loans and retrievable for future reference or audit requests. Processes payoff quotes, payoffs, and lien releases. Escalates complex or unusual issues to senior team members. Actively stays current on all Bank products, services, procedures, policies, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements by regularly attending team meetings, completing mandatory training on schedule, and applying knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance in daily operations. Ensures adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and bank policies by preventing violations, minimizing risks, and safeguarding the Bank’s interests. Requirements High school diploma. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably within a lending-related function. Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and other office applications. Strong customer service skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work successfully both independently and as a member of a team.
