Description
Description River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust. The Loan Servicing Specialist II ensures the accurate setup, maintenance, and servicing of loans throughout the loan lifecycle, while also supporting more advanced and specialized servicing functions. Processes complex transactions, prepares investor remittances and reports, and monitors internal accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies and to uphold the integrity of loan and financial records. Boards loans according to the loan documents and tracks receipt of original note and/or title. Completes incoming requests via ticketing system or other sources to complete transactions, perform loan maintenance, or research to fulfill customer requests in a timely manner. Processes payoff quotes, payoffs, and lien releases. Prepares daily and monthly investor remittances and reporting for the Secondary Market. Monitors internal accounts daily, addressing any out of balance items in a timely manner. Prepares monthly reconciliation for General Ledger accounts. Leads tasks to be completed for Special Projects. Assists Management with research and response to internal and external audit findings. Manages transactions related to special programs and participation loans. Serves as a resource for Loan Servicing Specialists I as needed Requirements High school diploma. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional office environment within a lending-related function. Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and other office applications. Excellent customer service skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work successfully both independently and as a member of a team.
