General Purpose of the Job: With minimal direct supervision of the Loan Servicing Supervisor and/or Manager, the associate is required to perform all loan servicing functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job. 2. Performs all functions related to balancing, reconciliation and certification of GL accounts 3. Board and fund all new and renewed loans and leases 4. Process payments, payoffs, paydowns, as well as, advances, maintenance transactions and non-posted transactions 5. Process collateral lien perfection and lien releases 6. Process all payoff demand requests, prepayment penalty calculations and paid note documentation 7. Process charge offs and recoveries for all loans and leases 8. Perform the call back/audit function when required for all entries to the loan/lease systems 9. Perform updates as needed on the loan tickler and collateral systems 10. Respond to internal/external inquiries 11. Prepare and maintain departmental logs and reports 12. Accurately scan and index loan documentation into the appropriate imaging groups and Types 13. Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers. 14. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED; and a minimum 3 years loan servicing experience preferred. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
