Description

As the Loan Servicing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the accurate onboarding, maintenance, and post-closing administration of commercial, consumer, real estate, dealer floor plan, and participation loans. You’ll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, document compliance, and excellent customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.
This position also provides support to broader operational tasks such as document management, mail handling, and general departmental support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan servicing, loan operations, or a similar banking role.
  • Strong understanding of loan systems and servicing procedures.
  • Familiarity with loan documents, escrow processes, and payment schedules.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and core banking systems.

Responsibilities
  • Process daily loan transactions including payments, payoffs, advances, and adjustments.
  • Perform loan maintenance such as rate changes, billing updates, and address modifications.
  • Conduct post-closing quality control for data accuracy and documentation completeness.
  • Assist with escrow analysis and the tracking/disbursement of property taxes and insurance.
  • Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries regarding loan accounts.
  • Monitor and resolve exceptions, discrepancies, and servicing errors.
  • Maintain compliance with bank policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support servicing for participation and syndication loans, if applicable.
  • Manage collateral releases, UCC terminations, and lien satisfactions.
  • Collaborate with auditors, examiners, and compliance teams during reviews.
