AgGeorgia Farm Credit is looking for a Loan Specialist to join our dynamic team! We are looking for the Loan Specialist to work in any of our branches across the state.
This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of loan processing and credit preparation. You’ll be the backbone of support for our loan officers and credit analysts, helping maintain smooth workflows and regulatory excellence.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in lending, credit, or financial services.

COMMUNICATION & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and tactfully with colleagues and members.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, relationship-building, and customer service orientation.

FINANCIAL & ANALYTICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Solid understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Familiarity with credit underwriting standards, trend analysis, and AgGeorgia’s lending products and requirements.

OTHER DUTIES

• Provide office coverage support, including answering phones and greeting members.
• Assist with data collection for annual line of credit processing.
• Review credit analysis summaries and loan closing packages.
