About the job: This role will assist the APAC Loan Syndication team based in Hong Kong with their activities with a broad-based skills and knowledge of corporate/project finance/leveraged finance syndications. The role will report to the Head of Loan Syndicate, Sales & Trading APAC. Key responsibilities: Support the Syndication team in their daily activity including but not limited to - preparation of Loan Underwriting Assessments, - liquidity analyses & breakeven analyses - loan comparable database maintenance, - loan market reviews, - underwriting monitoring, - preparing marketing materials and tracking syndication progress, - assistance throughout the syndication execution process, and - managing investor relationship Provide market updates to origination and coverage teams. Assist in conducting market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends, providing insights to enhance decision-making processes for the team. Collaborate with the risk management team to assess and mitigate potential risks associated with loan underwriting. Desired Experience / Background 1-2 years of experience in the loan markets, sales and trading, or similar roles. Recent graduates nonetheless are encouraged to apply. Good understanding of macro-economic and credit market dynamics. Strong Excel, Power Point skills, and Word skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Economics, Business or related field. Languages and technical knowledge Fluency in English (oral and written). Fluency in Mandarin (oral and written). Soft skills Well-organized individual with high level of attention to detail and motivation. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines. Team player but also comfortable working independently with limited supervision when needed. Multi-tasker and able to work under time pressure.
