In this role, you’ll work closely with the Broker to manage loan applications from onboarding through to submission. You’ll play an integral part in reviewing client information, preparing credit assessments, coordinating documentation, and ensuring a seamless client experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in mortgage processing, loan administration, or financial analysis who’s eager to grow into a full Loan Writer or Credit Analyst role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage client documentation — download, rename, and accurately file all required records. Review and analyze financial documents to prepare Credit Analysis and assessment reports. Support the preparation of loan product shortlists, recommendations, and pricing requests. Communicate with clients to send summaries, instructions, and digital forms for signing via Adobe Sign. Coordinate with the loan processing team (X-Source) to finalize and review applications for submission. Draft compliance notes and recap emails from client meetings to ensure accurate records. Assist in maintaining clear, professional client communication and provide updates throughout the loan process. Gradually take on broader responsibilities, including client meetings and post-settlement repricing support. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Proven experience in mortgage processing, loan administration, or credit analysis. At least 2+ years of experience in related fields or roles. Technical Skills: Must have strong proficiency in Mercury CRM (including Client Centre & Open Banking), Quickli, Adobe PDF/Adobe Sign. Communication: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; confident in handling client correspondence. Analytical Ability: Strong understanding of financial documents and credit assessment principles. Work Ethic & Attitude: Independent thinker, proactive problem solver, and eager learner capable of understanding business goals beyond process tasks. A fast learner with initiative — able to think critically and understand the “why” behind each task.
