The InterContinental Hotels Group® at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. A little taste of your day-to-day Deliver a warm and genuine welcome to ensure every guest’s experience begins memorably. · Recognize and acknowledge IHG One Rewards members and returning guests, both in person and over the phone. · Provide consistently professional, courteous, and engaging service at all times. · Offer Arabic coffee in the lobby as a traditional gesture of hospitality. · Support the Rooms Coordinator by preparing welcome cards and amenities. · Monitor guest satisfaction scores (GSI) and contribute to achieving targets through regular follow-ups and reviews. · Share clear and helpful information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions. · Create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging guests in warm and meaningful conversation. · Conduct courtesy calls to ensure guest satisfaction, address immediate needs, and enhance their overall stay experience. · Ensure smooth arrivals and departures, verifying identification, issuing room keys, and overseeing safety deposit box access. · Anticipate guest needs by recording preferences, managing messages, and responding promptly to requests, questions, and concerns. · Prioritize safety at all times by following hotel procedures, reporting incidents, and using protective equipment when necessary. · Represent the brand with pride through professional appearance and behaviour. · Stay informed about daily events and activities to provide accurate recommendations and updates to guests. · Escort and guide guests to the Club Lounge or their rooms after check-in, ensuring a seamless transition to their stay. What we need from you Communication skills – guests and colleagues will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to · Fluency in the English language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential · Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computers, Especially our reservations system, Opera. · Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job · You’ll have a high school diploma or qualification.
