As part of the rollout of a new Transport Management System (TMS), we are looking for a Lobster Data – EDI Developer (m/f/d) who will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting our EDI interfaces.

KNOW-HOW:

  • Confident handling of XML, JSON, and communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, Webservices, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of common exchange formats (e.g. EDIFACT, X12, ASN, JSON, XML, FTP, SFTP, APIs, OFTP)
  • Experience with SQL, preferably in database systems such as OracleDB, MSSQL, or MySQL

Skills: Strong understanding of databases, conceptual and analytical thinking, and the ability to bridge communication between business and IT departments

  • Communication: Fluent English skills (spoken and written), or alternatively very good German skills with good English skills
Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive EDI Integration: Develop and support internal and external EDI interfaces to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, TMS, Oracle) as part of the new TMS rollout – including maintenance and ongoing optimization
  • Mapping with Lobster Data: Analyze, design, and implement complex mappings and conversions with Lobster Data, tailored to customer-specific requirements
  • Ensure Reliable Connections: Set up and operate secure communication channels for electronic data exchange with business partners, including monitoring, error analysis, troubleshooting, and live support
  • Document & Share Knowledge: Create technical interface documentation and integration guidelines, and conduct training sessions to build sustainable internal know-how for onboarding new business partners
