Description Great New Career Opportunity in Long-Term Care! Now Hiring – Driver for our Massachusetts location Schedule: M-F, 3PM - 11PM EST You will be delivering small packages to group homes from a base of operations in Walpole, Massachusetts. Routes range from local/low mileage/many stops to more distant/higher mileage/fewer stops. You will use a smartphone scanning device and digital applications to control jobs on a manifest and to secure signature for Proof of Delivery. You will be the face of the business, interacting with clients, so an appropriate degree of professionalism is required. Greater Boston Long Term Care Pharmacy – We are a long-term care pharmacy that provides specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. If you are hardworking, dedicated and looking for a change in your career, we may have an opportunity for you! Requirements Clean driving record required (you will be asked to provide MVC abstract.) No CDL necessary. Must be able to work the advertised M-F 3PM - 11PM EST shift Professional appearance. Must be accountable and responsible. Sort and organize completed prescriptions Use Pharmacy operating software and Dispatch and Routing software Use handheld Scanner to capture bar code digital information Prepare packages for delivery: print Packing Lists, inspect for accuracy, stage, and route Performing other duties as assigned Ability to multi-task and work with other members of the shipping and distribution team as well as Pharmacists and Technicians Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping Ability to develop continuous improvements in the shipping department Basic understanding of, or the ability to learn, locations and organizational structure of the company Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of medications Physical Requirements: Must be able to withstand long hours of driving and getting in and out of vehicle. Must be able to pick up up to 40lbs to load vehicle. Must be able to drive at night. Must be able to speak and write English. Good phone communication.
