C3’s mission is to lead people into new and growing relationships with Jesus Christ. Job Summary To serve C3 by mobilizing its people to live on mission in their everyday lives—locally and globally. This role works closely with the Discipleship & Outreach Pastor to develop strategic ministry partnerships, create meaningful serve opportunities, and equip church members to share the gospel and make disciples. Duties and Responsibilities Identify, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with local ministries, nonprofits, and community organizations aligned with the mission and values of the church. Discern opportunities where the church can meaningfully serve and bless the local community. Coordinate recurring one-day outreach opportunities that allow church members to easily participate in serving initiatives. Develop systems that help members discover and sign up for outreach opportunities. Assist in cultivating and maintaining global ministry partnerships with missionaries and organizations around the world. Coordinate and organize short-term mission trips that mobilize church members to serve internationally. Provide logistical and administrative support for global missions efforts including trip planning, team preparation, and communication. Help foster a culture where the church embraces the call to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Help activate church members to live a life on mission through service, evangelism, and discipleship. Work with Rooted groups, Life Groups, and other ministry groups to integrate serving opportunities into their group rhythms. Equip and encourage members to live as everyday missionaries in their homes, workplaces, schools, and communities. Collaborate with church staff and ministry leaders to integrate outreach opportunities into discipleship pathways. Plan, organize, and execute church-wide outreach initiatives and serve days. Coordinate volunteer teams and logistics for outreach events. Ensure outreach opportunities are meaningful, organized, and aligned with the church’s mission. Assist in developing the second-floor space as a strategic outreach center and training environment. Help facilitate training environments that equip members in evangelism, mission, and practical outreach skills. Support ministry initiatives that help people grow in confidence sharing their faith and engaging their communities. Maintain communication with ministry partners and missions teams. Track outreach engagement and participation to evaluate effectiveness. Assist with promotion of outreach opportunities in collaboration with the communications team. Interface with other departments and outside contacts to exchange information, answer inquiries, and secure cooperation or approval on action items. Communicate regularly with supervisor about departmental issues. Assist supervisor with special projects, events, and diverse tasks in support of C3. Attend any department meetings, regular all-staff meetings, and other meetings as required. Utilize a thorough understanding of C3 employee policies and procedures. Demonstrate ongoing financial support for ministries of C3. Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment. Cooperate with leadership by performing any other duties when asked to do so. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Passion for evangelism, discipleship, and missional living. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to build relationships with ministry partners, volunteers, and church members. Experience coordinating events, volunteer teams, or ministry initiatives. Efficient, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities. Proactive in process improvement and maintaining confidentiality. Professional, spiritually mature, and comfortable interacting with diverse groups. Able to analyze complex, technical situations and develop solutions. Ability to read and carry out written and oral instructions. Strong computer skills, including familiarity and experience with a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with church management software a plus. Familiarity with church management tools and volunteer coordination systems. Ability to handle constantly changing priorities and demands. Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally at all levels. Able to work under pressure. Maintain the confidentially of sensitive information. Education & Experience Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in ministry, nonprofit leadership, theology, or a related field (or equivalent ministry experience) preferred. Experience: 3 years of experience with local outreach ministries, nonprofit partnerships, or global missions. Experience organizing short-term mission trips or outreach initiatives.
