Local OR Nurse | 40 Hours/week | $57/hour   Job Overview We are seeking an Operating Room RN also known as an OR RN or perioperative nurse, provides comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery. Operating Room Nurse work within the operating room setting, collaborating with surgeons and other surgical team members to ensure patient safety and well-being. OR RNs prepare patients for surgery, which includes reviewing medical history, conducting assessments, educating patients and families about the procedure, and administering pre-operative medications   Job Details: Location: Mesquite, TX, 75149 Contract Duration: 13-week contract Work Schedule: 40 hours/week Shift: Days/Mid: 6:30PM to 3:00PM OR 8:00AM to 5:00 PM   Job Qualifications • Current and valid state RN License/ Nursys Report • Current BLS (AHA)  • Current ACLS (AHA) • Experience: *Ortho (Total knees, hips, shoulders & ankles), Podiatry, Gyn & General/laparoscopic procedures • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred • On-Call requirement: Yes - per unit needs.  • Take rotating call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.    Additional details: • Covid patients: Yes  • Charting system: EPIC  • Scrubs: Any color   We’re excited to connect with qualified candidates.
