With multiple websites and Google Business Profiles across the Southeast, we are looking for a Local SEO Manager to help us dominate search visibility and drive growth across all our brands.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of proven SEO experience, with a strong focus on local SEO.
  • Demonstrated success managing Google Business Profiles and driving measurable growth.
  • Solid knowledge of website optimization
  • Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals
  • Proficiency in SEO tools
  • Ability to adapt to AI-driven changes in search and proactively implement new tactics.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
  • Self-starter who can take high-level business goals and translate them into tactical SEO campaigns.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Local SEO Manager will own SEO strategy and execution across a variety of locations and brands. This role is hands-on — you’ll be expected to build strategy, execute campaigns, and measure performance. You’ll also play a critical role in managing the impact of AI-driven changes in Google search and beyond, ensuring our brands remain highly visible as search evolves.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead SEO strategy and execution for Mosquito Squad, Lawn Squad, and New Age Lights.
  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles for multiple service territories.
  • Conduct keyword research and develop content roadmaps to capture local demand.
  • Oversee on-page SEO including metadata, internal linking, schema markup, and service/city page optimization.
  • Partner with writers to produce localized blogs and seasonal content.
  • Build and maintain citations, backlinks, and local directory listings.
  • Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and AI-driven search features (SGE, etc.), adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Create and maintain SEO dashboards and performance reports, delivering insights to leadership.
  • Continuously improve organic lead flow and conversions.
