Gladstone Primary Academy is looking for an exceptional Local Services Officer to take the lead in ensuring their school runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently every single day. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that touches every corner of school life—from managing compliance systems and health and safety, to supporting extended services like Breakfast Club and Stay & Play, and acting as their first aid and GDPR lead.
You’ll be the vital link between their school, the Trust, and external partners, ensuring that their systems and services not only meet legal and Trust-wide standards but also support the best possible environment for their pupils to thrive. You’ll oversee operational projects, manage digital platforms, liaise with catering and facilities teams, and keep their school website and data returns up to date.
They’re looking for someone who is highly organised, digitally confident, and a natural problem-solver. You’ll have experience with MIS platforms and tools like Sage, Every, or Bromcom, and be a strong communicator who can manage compliance and operations with discretion and care. Most importantly, you’ll be committed to pupil wellbeing and safeguarding.
Fluency Duty: As this role involves direct interaction with the public, it is essential that the candidate meets the Fluency Duty requirements as outlined in the Immigration Act 2016. The successful candidate must demonstrate fluency in English to ensure effective communication with their staff, parents and pupils.
