ARE YOU QUALIFIED?

  • Must maintain an acceptable MVR.
  • Must be willing to submit to pre employment drug screen.
  • Experienced custom applicator and/or agronomy management experience.
  • Operating heavy machinery, farm machinery, tractors, spreaders, sprayers, tender trucks, semi trucks, etc.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Previous experience as a farmer, farm hand, farm worker, farm laborer, construction worker, agriculture operator, spreader operator, chemical operator, custom applicator.
  • Working with chemicals, fertilizers, and anhydrous ammonia.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee daily operations of grain and agronomy facilities, including grain handling, storage, shipping, fertilizer, chemical, and seed operations.
  • Ensure efficient use of equipment, labor, and resources to meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Monitor facility performance, identify operational improvements, and implement best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of grain inventories, agronomy product inventories, and financial transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and local agricultural partners.
  • Provide input and recommendations on agronomy products, grain marketing opportunities, and services to meet customer needs.
  • Promote company programs, products, and services to drive business growth.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise, train, and develop staff, including applicators, truck drivers, grain handlers, and office personnel.
  • Schedule and assign work to ensure efficient operations during peak seasons.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented, and safety-focused work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and all other regulatory requirements for both grain and agronomy operations.
  • Oversee proper handling, storage, and application of chemicals, fertilizers, and grain products.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety among employees and customers.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of facility financial performance.
  • Control operating costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Support company goals for profitability and growth.
