Pride Marine Group is seeking a Location Manager for our Rosseau Lake location in Muskoka, ON

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Pleasure Craft Operator Card (nice to have)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivation of employees
  • Three years of experience in a management role and five years of experience in a related industry
  • Degree in business administration, management, or a field related to the industry an asset
  • A well defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve and exceed their goals

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

  • Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
  • Ensure the effectiveness of employees through strategic hiring, assignment of duties, discipline, and dismissal
  • Ensure employees have clear goals and are aware of expectations
  • Plan and conduct meetings with employees to communicate sales targets, goals, and projects
  • Ensure all sales employees maintain a high level of product and service knowledge on an ongoing basis
  • Celebrate successes and foster an atmosphere of success
  • Administer disciplinary action in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  • Handle customer concerns, disputes and issues in a professional, courteous and timely manner
  • Model and champion the company’s dedication to providing excellent customer service
  • Work with Service Manager to ensure Service achieves goals
  • Ensure cleanliness of all grounds and facilities
  • Must comply with Health and Safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures
