JOB DESCRIPTION

Our St. Louis, MO Lockbox site is a secured facility that manually processes payments. Each payment is mailed to a post office box number where an employee from U.S. Bank goes and collects the payments and bring them to the site. There are also different sectors of lockbox.
Federal (GA) Banking: In Federal Banking, our client is the United States Federal Government. We process payments for our Government Agencies.
National Has TWO sectors:
1.Remittance Banking: In Remittance Banking, our client group consists of corporations or large organizations. We process payments for them sent in by their customers.
2.Internal Payments (IP): In Internal Payments we process payments for credit cards, lines of credit, loans and leases as well as mortgage accounts for U.S. Bank.
Job Functions for each sector:
Falcon Operator: Processor that operates a Falcon machine by scanning payments and supplemental documents into our system to process.
Data Entry Clerk: Processor that enters data through a computer system to process payments and supplemental documents for multiple accounts.
Additional job functions include: preparing physical items for processing on capture devices, performing data perfection/data entry on deposit transactions that require correction, filing/retrieving items as needed, balancing tasks, and other duties as assigned.
Schedule is This is a 32-hour full-time position working Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday 3:30 pm- 12:00 am.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of related work experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and department policies, procedures, products and support systems
  • Proven commitment to high quality customer service
  • Ability to work well with external and internal customers
  • Good time management skills to maximize production and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve exceptions through data interpretation
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
