SUMMARY:

Frenchman’s Creek Country Club is seeking a professional, service-oriented Locker Room & Card Room Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of all Club locker rooms and card rooms, with a primary station in the Men’s Locker Room. This individual will be responsible for supervising locker and card room attendants, ensuring a high standard of service and presentation across all spaces, managing the Club’s shoe cleaning program, and coordinating with Housekeeping to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards. This position works closely with the Operations Manager, Concierge Manager, and Housekeeping Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Supervisory experience in a hospitality or private club environment preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Professional appearance and conduct, with a focus on discretion and service
  • Knowledge of shoe care/cleaning processes is a plus
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations of all locker rooms and card rooms throughout the Club, with a primary presence in the Men’s Locker Room
  • Supervise, schedule, and support locker room and card room attendants
  • Ensure consistent service excellence and attention to detail across all locker and card room areas
  • Manage the shoe cleaning program, including tracking, quality control, and inventory of supplies
  • Monitor day locker usage in the Men’s Locker Room and ensure spaces are orderly and well-maintained
  • Partner with housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and restocking of supplies in all locker rooms and restrooms
  • Oversee setup and breakdown of card games and tournaments, ensuring card rooms are prepared and organized for member use
  • Serve as a point of contact for member needs and preferences related to locker and card room services
  • Collaborate with the operations manager and concierge manager to support club events, service requests, and operational efficiency
  • Report directly to the assistant general manager (AGM), providing regular updates on staff performance, service quality, and facility conditions
