Your main responsibilities As a Lockout Technician, you will play a key role in developing our expertise in hazardous energy management. You will be responsible for: Develop and optimize procedures: Create, validate, and update lockout procedures, recommending improvements to enhance methods and ensure compliance with standards (CNESST, CSA Z460, CSA Z462). Project coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in kickoff meetings, and ensure effective integration of lockout systems into projects. Risk analysis and compliance: Conduct site assessments, validate installation compliance, and contribute to risk assessments for various disciplines (chemical, electrical, mechanical…). Budgeting and technical documentation: Prepare cost estimates for lockout system implementation and produce reports, presentations, and technical documents. Data management and specialized tools: Utilize expert systems, perform data entry and extraction to support decision-making for managers. Your Profile DEP or DEC in a relevant field (Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, HSE) or equivalent industrial experience. Practical experience with lockout systems and devices. Familiarity with applicable regulations and standards (CSA Z460, CNESST). Strong knowledge of hazardous energy management principles. Understanding of building systems and maintenance. Proficiency in spoken and written French. Experience with technical lockout procedures, electromechanics, and machine safety is considered an asset.
