Visit our website for full details. SUPERVISOR: Manager or designee. SUMMARY:   Responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and repair of all hardware and locks in the Cherry Creek School District. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  • Maintains a master key system in the maintenance office for the District. [Daily, 11%] • Makes keys to replace lost or broken ones. [Daily, 9%] • Keeps an inventory of all materials in the department. Maintains daily work log. [Daily, 9%] • Impressions or opens lock when no key is available. [Daily, 4%] • Replaces/adjusts closers, hinges and door hardware. [Weekly, 17%] • Opens filing cabinets in school district facilities when key is lost and/or misplaced. [Weekly, 8%] • Maintains and stocks special locksmith truck so that re-keying can be done at the job site. [Weekly, 4%] • Re-keys (including master keying) all remodeling projects. [Monthly, 10%] • Completes special projects as assigned to include, but not limited to, ADA installs. [Monthly,7 %] • Adjusts and replaces doors. [Monthly, 6%] • Assists in snow removal duties as directed. [Monthly, 3%] • Supplies guidance to principals and school personnel concerning security of school property. [Quarterly, 6%] • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 6%]  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of two (2) years Locksmithing or general maintenance experience. • Must be able to work flexible hours and/or shifts. • Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool. • Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.  REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.  • Valid Colorado driver’s license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Commercial driver’s license. • A working knowledge of District preferred locks.
