Among many other benefit programs. Benefits do kick in from day one! Position Summary Serves as the main source for all locks, keys and information regarding these materials within the system. Essential Functions  Installs and maintains the locked and secured areas throughout the corporate system.  Maintains the integrity of the Master Key system, the security of all narcotics keys and locks, and practicing strict key control to ensure the security of all departments throughout the organization.  Opens all types of locks, makes keys by impression, removes broken keys and repairs the various locks found on doors, cabinets, credenzas, etc.  Handles the needs and security of all department moves.  Orders and maintains all materials and supplies related to lock pinning.  Maintains records, forms and reports which track the changes of all facility locks.  Works with Security Department and customers in all key related matters. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions  Assists Facility Development in planning key bidding.  The Locksmith is responsible for keeping up-to-date and knowledgeable about current practices involving new trends and security items for use within the system. Learns new systems and procedures as required.  Trains other Engineering Department personnel as required.  Identifies ADA requirements for door lock down and releasing mechanism. Education/Training High school diploma or equivalent. Completes all Orlando Health mandatory education. Licensure/Certification None. Experience Four (4) years of locksmith experience.
Responsibilities
The locksmith is responsible for installing and maintaining locks and secured areas throughout the corporate system, ensuring the integrity of the Master Key system and security of narcotics keys.
