Description

The Locksmith performs work on the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electronic locking devices. Removes, replaces, maintains, repairs and adjusts all types of locks and locking devices. Makes keys and pin cores within the Hospital. This role ensures the safety and security of patients, staff, and property by maintaining functional and reliable access systems while adhering to regulatory compliance and industry standards. Qualifications * High School Graduate or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) * Two (2) year related work experience as licensed Locksmith * Familiarity with healthcare-specific locking systems and security standards. * Locksmith license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs. * Valid New York State Driver’s License * Mechanical skills * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and vendors
