JOB OVERVIEW

The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust are seeking enthusiastic Locum Consultant to join our pool of Staff Bank workers, there are many full time roles available but as they are ever-changing - the exact roles available will be provided once your Hiring & Recruitment is complete. We can give you an idea of the type of roles available at the time of contact, but we cannot guarantee set roles as your hiring time may vary. Depending on previous relevant experience & previous NHS experience, higher banding/rates can be discussed. This is an excellent job opportunity for a consultant to gain more experience and skills working within AMU. This role is to work within the St. Helier site for Epsom and St. Helier NHS trust.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

Specialist physician in Acute Medicine, with an interest in a chosen specialty if desired.
The post is a basic 10 + 0.5 programmed sessions (8 DCC, 0.5 DCC patient admin, 2 SPA). We aim to provide the SPA over 1 day to enable hybrid working.
For those with a another specialty interest there is an opportunity to undertake 2 programmed DCC sessions in the chosen specialty if appropriate following discussion and agreement with specialty department (6.5 Acute Medicine DCC, 2 Specialty DCC, 2 SPA).
There will also be the opportunity to join the GIM on call rota which provides an additional programmed session.
