Description
As a Locum Anesthesiologist at Current Clinic, you play a vital role in enabling our Carlsbad ASC to deliver safe, high-quality cardiac procedures to patients who might otherwise go without care. Working approximately 1 to 2 days per month, you bring expert anesthesia coverage that allows our EP team to operate at full capacity, directly expanding patient access to life-changing Afib treatment in the community. You are a skilled clinician who thrives in efficient, procedurally focused environments. You come prepared, integrate quickly with a team, and bring a calm, steady presence to the OR regardless of how familiar the setting. You are comfortable working in a lean ASC model and you appreciate the simplicity of a focused caseload, where every patient encounter is purposeful and your expertise has immediate, tangible impact. You value flexibility and appreciate the opportunity to contribute meaningful clinical work without the demands of a full-time position. At Current Clinic, locum providers are genuine partners in care; you will be welcomed into a collaborative, mission-driven team and supported with clear communication, organized scheduling, and a well-run clinical environment. This role is an excellent fit for an experienced anesthesiologist seeking flexible, high-quality locum engagements with a growing specialty ASC network.
Responsibilities
Provide expert anesthesia coverage for cardiac procedures at the Carlsbad ASC to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency. Collaborate with the EP team to facilitate life-changing Afib treatments in a focused, procedural environment.
