Description We are searching for a qualified Anesthesiologist for a full time, 1 year contract opportunity in Clarksburg, West Virginia with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Any active, unrestricted state license accepted (no WV license requirement). This is a fantastic 1099 contract opportunity with a stable weekly schedule and the opportunity to support our nation's Veterans. Position Highlights $260/hour base compensation Sign On Bonus 1099 Independent Contractor Any Active US Medical License Accepted Long term VA contract with extension options Malpractice Coverage Provided Credentialing Assistance Provided Position: Physician - Anesthesiology Dates: 4/1/2026 - 12/31/2026 (option to extend) Location: Clarksburg, West Virginia - VA Medical Center Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm, 30-minute lunch break Call: 5 day of evening call per month and 1 weekend call rotation Scope of Care 95% Direct Patient Care / 5% Administrative Providing Anesthesiology Services for Clinic & Surgical Care Surgical cases including but not limited to: cardiac, orthopedic joint replacement, major vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastic, ENT, urologic, and ophthalmologic operations Clinical Cases including but not limited to: electroconvulsive therapy and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in cardiac catheterization lab, electrophysiology, gastrointestinal, and radiological suites to include MRI Procedures Preoperative evaluation and anesthetic planning Administration of general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care Airway management and invasive monitoring Management of intraoperative complications Post-anesthesia recovery management (PACU) Regional nerve blocks and pain procedures as indicated Requirements Full, Current, Unrestricted Medical License (Any State) Board Certification or True Board Eligibility by American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Current ACLS Current BLS DEA Clean Malpractice History & Criminal Record Ability to Speak, Understand, Read, and Write English Experience In a Similar Setting Preferred
