Job Title: Specialist Pharmacist – Wards and Dispensary Banding: Band 7/8A Location: North-East London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Hourly Rate: £37-£40 Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 7/8A Pharmacist to join a pharmacy team in North-East London. This role involves providing clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards and supporting dispensary operations to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines management and contribute to service development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver clinical pharmacy services across designated wards. Support dispensary operations, including clinical screening and accuracy checks. Provide expert advice on medicines optimisation and prescribing practices. Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications and Experience Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Previous NHS experience in ward-based and dispensary pharmacy. Strong clinical knowledge and medicines management skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
