This is a 10 PA locum appointment for a Consultant in Emergency Medicine. The post will be based at both the Leeds General Infirmary and St James University Emergency Departments. 2. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST 2.1 To deliver care to patients with Urgent care needs at the LGI/ SJUH Out-patient clinics Supervision of patients Contribute to Specialist Multi-disciplinary team meetings 2.2 To link with consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the Urgent Care CSU and across the Trust 2.3 ED consultants are expected to work a rota encompassing shifts covering the full 24/7 cycle with a specific PA quantum allocated dependent for each shift.
2.4 To contribute to research, teaching, and new developments within the Emergency Departments. The post holder will be encouraged to facilitate and contribute to the current clinical research programs on going in the department
