An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Consultant Medical Microbiologist to join North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service (NMCPS). The appointees will be part of a team of four Consultant Microbiologists and three Infectious Disease Consultants at Royal Stoke University Hospital (University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust) and a Consultant Microbiologists based at Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust who collectively provide a comprehensive clinical Microbiology / ID service to the Trusts served by the NMCPS. The post is a full time (up to 11.5 PA), 12-month fixed term posts based at the Royal Stoke University Hospital (RSUH) site. Whilst the post is offered on a full-time basis the Trust would welcome discussion with individuals looking for a more flexible working pattern to support a different work life balance
