The basis of the post is 10 programmed activities, of this the on-call duties are recognised at 1.5 PA and this is reviewed periodically. There are 8.5 fixed sessions with the remainder being allocated to supporting activities. The post holder will be expected to have commitment to teaching junior doctors, nurses including specialist nurses and medical students. The job plan below is intended to serve as a broad indication of the duties of the post and the successful candidate will be required to monitor a workload including on call.
