Description This contract position is on-site, providing an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our anesthesiology department within the medical practice industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their surgical experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining our commitment to excellence in patient care. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after anesthesia Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure patient safety Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies Educate patients and families on anesthesia processes and risks Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols Requirements Associate degree in Nursing or related field Current RN license and CRNA certification Proven experience in administering anesthesia Strong knowledge of anesthesiology principles and practices Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Schedule: 10 or 12-hour day shifts Case Types: General Surgery, vascular, healthy peds, neonates/sick peds, OB, high risk OB, trauma, ortho, neuro (heads), neuro (spine), thoracic, urology, gynecological, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics EMR: Epic 3 years of experience preferred, specifically in a trauma center Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
