Position: Locum Dentist Location: Blackburn (Multiple Practices Available)

Our well-established, mixed NHS and private practices offer high-quality dental care to a diverse patient base. With a focus on family dentistry and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we are dedicated to providing an excellent patient experience. Clinics are open from 8:00am to 7:00pm, and we can discuss surgery times that work for you.
We are part of a larger network of over 100 dental surgeries across the North West of England and Ireland. This gives you the flexibility to move between different locations, with the potential to grow with us long-term.

REQUIREMENTS TO WORK AS A LOCUM DENTIST IN THE UK:

  • GDC Registration: You must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) to practice as a dentist in the UK. This ensures that your qualifications are recognised and you meet the necessary standards.
  • Right to Work in the UK: You must have the legal right to work in the UK. This typically means holding UK citizenship or having the appropriate visa if you are from outside the UK or European Economic Area (EEA).
  • Enhanced DBS Check: An up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required, to ensure you meet the safety standards for working with vulnerable patients.
  • Indemnity Insurance: You must have valid professional indemnity insurance to cover your work as a dentist in the UK.
  • Clinical Experience: Relevant experience in general dentistry, particularly within NHS or private practices, will be an advantage.
  • Ability to Communicate Effectively: Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, the dental team, and other healthcare professionals.
  • CPD Compliance: You must comply with continuing professional development (CPD) requirements, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry.
