As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality anesthetic services, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of providing outstanding healthcare services to the community. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations Provide post-anesthesia care and support Stay informed on advancements in anesthesiology practices Adhere to safety protocols and standards of care Document patient care accurately in medical records Requirements MD or DO degree with a valid medical license Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology Experience as an Anesthesiologist in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology Excellent patient management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and education Board certification in Anesthesiology is preferred Schedule: Friday (5p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a) Annual Volume: 3,600 surgical cases Case Types: Orthopedic, L&D, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular cases Support Staff: Anesthesia providers, CRNA, Anesthesia Tech Will practice independently EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
