As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary care services to a diverse patient population. Your expertise will contribute to the health and well-being of our community while working alongside a team of committed healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care audits Stay current with medical best practices and advancements in internal medicine Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license to practice in the state of Arizona Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine Strong clinical skills with a focus on primary care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p No call shifts Patient Census: 18-20 per day Patient Population: 75% adult, 25% geriatric Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
