Description This is a contract position that requires an on-site presence, offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care within a dynamic medical practice environment. As a Locum Psychiatry professional, you will be involved in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, working collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare providers. This role is essential to ensuring our patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide psychotherapy and medication management Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary Participate in case consultations and team meetings Maintain accurate and timely medical records Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric practices Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in Illinois Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry Experience in psychiatric evaluation and treatment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient-centered care Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Schedule: 24-Hour off-site call coverage, every other weekend Setting: Multiple facility locations Patient Population: Adults 18+ EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses included
