Description We are searching for a locum nurse practitioner with cardiovascular surgery first assist experience to provide full time coverage for our client in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Contract is for regular hours (4x10s) and call coverage (nights and weekends). Regular hourly pay is $110/hour. This contract is for full time coverage only - all candidates must have full time availability to be considered. Please see further details about this contract below! Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery Full Time Contract - Start: ASAP - End: Ongoing Contract (6 month minimum commitment) Pay: Regular - $110/hour Hershey, Pennsylvania Hospital Facility - OR with some ICU floor time Shift Schedule: 4x10s Monday-Friday (7am-5pm) Night Call: 5pm-7am Weekend Call: Friday 5pm - Monday 7am with all calls from home, no in-house Marquet Equipment, Cerner EMR, EVH & First Assist, Support 2-5 surgeons, support staff is surgical residents and surgical RNs Malpractice Coverage Provided Travel & Lodging Assistance Available for non-local candidates Requirements Active Pennsylvania Medical License ACLS Certification BLS Certification Credentialing for Hospital Privileges Required - 60-120 timeframe 2+ years in a similar setting required First Assist Experience Required Clean malpractice history & criminal record required

Responsibilities

Provide full-time coverage for cardiovascular surgery first assist. Support 2-5 surgeons and assist in the operating room with some ICU floor time.
