• The client will supply you with a company car, however you will need a valid UK driving license and be able to drive a manual car.
• Days needed are Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:30

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Locum Optical Assistant (OA) to cover various shifts on a regular or ad-hoc basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
· Daily Arrival: Arrive at the office in Denton each morning to collect the day’s delivery.
· Delivery and Service: Deliver to approximately 5-7 venues each day, all of which are Care Homes that we have seen resident at and carried out sight test for recently that now need their glasses fitting and adjusting.
· Spectacle Fitting and Adjustment: Deliver, fit, and adjust spectacles for residents at each venue.
· Handover and Documentation: Complete handovers with care home staff to explain whose glasses were delivered and ensure GOS3 forms are signed.
· End-of-Day Duties: Return to the office at the end of the day to drop off the kit.
Additional Information:
· A vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.
· Fuel costs for all work miles will be covered.
Requirements:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
· Experience in optical dispensing and fitting spectacles is preferred.
· Happy to drive to different locations
· Valid driver’s license.
