JOB OVERVIEW:

Med Doc Healthcare is currently seeking experienced and highly motivated Locum Doctors to join our team, working with Health Service Executive (HSE) hospitals across Ireland. As a Locum Doctor, you will provide essential medical care and support in both short-term and long-term assignments, ensuring high-quality care for patients while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Medical degree and full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a hospital setting, preferably with experience in a similar role.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work in various locations across Ireland.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide medical care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring high standards of clinical practice.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses, injuries, and conditions in accordance with established medical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care to patients.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and HSE guidelines.
• Provide advice and guidance to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in the on-call rota if required.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Manage patient discharge and referrals as necessary.
